5 tips for your Fourth of July Cookout

Happy Fourth friends! If you are preparing for a Fourth of July cookout here are 5 tips that will help your party run smoothly and hopefully give you time to enjoy your day off too!

1) Prepare all the food ahead of time. This will remove some of the stress of the morning of and help the day go smoothly.

2) Have several games prepared for the children to play to avoid the dreaded “I’m bored”. Games such as backyard baseball, Kan Jam, or Frisbee are great for kids and easy to set up.

3) Be prepared for rain. The weather is unpredictable and it is best to be prepared for all mother nature has in store.

4) Designate a single grill cook. We all know the saying “too many cooks in the kitchen” and the easiest way to avoid that is to only allow one grill cook.

5) Remember to have fun! This is your party you earned it!
